A large burnt forest. Recently, a fire led all of the trees to their demise. A fresh scent of burning wood drifts in the air. The forest isn't too bright, considering all of the ash that had went up. The ground is also covered in black ash, leaving only a little bit of peaking greenery. Nothing is in the forest but a few wolves.

(Here, I will state the things that I see Sparkle excelling at and the things that need work. This is more of a personal area, providing a quick place for me to jot down information and view it.)

-Aaron will be posting as 'Tizan'-

It was dark. Very terribly, horrifyingly, endlessly dark. A horrid stench was strong in the thick air. The words 'thick air' repeated again in Tizan's mind. What had the forest burning been like to all of the natives? Images of violent tongues of fire licking at trees flashed in his head. Pictures of raging fingers of inferno dissolving the animals of the forest were imprinted very painfully across his eyes. Why had he stayed in the first place? Tizan didn't know what significance he sought in this practical graveyard. What distorted pleasure did he seek in the dead life? Nothing, he answered himself. He just wanted to escape reality. There was a lot on his mind, and he wanted to be by himself. He wanted to sail away in his mental boat and sink into the pleasures of imagination. Dream of what life had been like here before the fire.

He didn't need to dream, though. Tizan still vividly remembered life with his sister in their den. Their parents had fled when the were born, leaving Tizan in the possession of his sister for his childhood life. She was kind to him, Tizan admitted, but was she any comparison to want a real parent would be like? Jennzia was careful and tender, but his real parents were probably three times what she showed him. Now that Jennzia was gone somewhere else because of the fire, Tizan was left here with nothing. Absolutely nothing. He didn't know where to go or what he should do. He barely even recognized his home anymore. Glancing at the pile of assorted sticks and twigs that used to be his den, he couldn't even remember where he'd slept. Tizan let out a sigh. This wasn't helping his head at all, and, if anything, worsening its state. He needed to get out of here and away from his childhood. But where was available?

Tizan rose to his feet, the light gray now darkened because of the ash. He muttered a few illegible words as he dusted off the burnt powder from his fur, and then began walking. All the trees seemed to have their own individual scars. One that looked like lightening was painted across a tall, skinny spruce ahead of Tizan. A scar that looked like an ear was placed on a birch tree the curved weekly beside him. The forest was ruined. His home was ruined. Tizan shut his eyes and shook his pelt. Everything was clouding his mind and his trail of thought. Suddenly, he realized something. He had no idea where he was going. maybe he was heading deeper into the forest. Maybe he was walking in circles. Tizan had walked from the den in a semiconscious state. He couldn't even remember which direction he had come from.

So Tizan sat down again.
